This time I focused on casting the shadows of simple and complex planar volumes. I started with simple concepts like cast shadows of vertical and horizontal stick onto wall and over obstacles (local and sun light). Then I made some shadow construction for planar shapes. It's all following exercises in Scott Robertson's book "How to render". So, this is a few notes and studies.

I decided to draw series of some insects by applying X-Y-Z section drawing techniques which are shown before.
Here the first one of them.
