The art of colour and light with Marco Bucci. Week 3 - Color Temperature

1. Color swatches studies. The main goal is to define how color temperature is changing on light and shadow sides.

2. Simple ball in different lighting scenarios. Now applying principles from previous studies (also from week 2) for a simple colored sphere in different lighting situations. For the last two I used art by E. Tiemens and  C. Whisson.

3. Quick color studies from photo reference. With little improvisation and time limit 25 min I did color studies where I tried to apply all previous knowledge.

Return to the fundamentals 2

This time I focused on casting the shadows of simple and complex planar volumes. I started with simple concepts like cast shadows of vertical and horizontal stick onto wall and over obstacles (local and sun light). Then I made some shadow construction for planar shapes. It's all following exercises in Scott Robertson's book "How to render". So, this is a few notes and studies.
